Get ready for an unforgettable, bright adventure. At Illumination Station, kids will dive into a week packed with high-energy worship music, interactive team games, and hands-on crafts...kicked off by a full meal. 

Through every activity, we will illuminate the truth of Scripture, helping children clearly see who Jesus is and how to walk confidently in His light.

Check out what your kids can expect

Your child’s safety is our absolute priority. Every volunteer undergoes a mandatory background check and safety training. Additionally, we use a check-in and check-out system to ensure a clear, protected environment throughout the week.

That said, you're welcome to stay and enjoy the fun. Some parents hang out in the dining area for free coffee and WIFI. WARNING: Miss Carrie will try to feed you! She can't help it.

Parents of smaller children may want to be closer or watch through the windows of every classroom. Just let check-in know so we can find what works for you, otherwise security will stop you and tell you a long story from the Old Testament.

Kids should wear comfortable clothes they can easily move in (and that you don't mind getting a little neon paint on!) along with closed-toe shoes for recreation. You do not need to bring any outside food or toys—we provide everything they need.

Bringing a smile is optional but recommended.

Vacation Bible School at Hillside Baptist Church is completely free for all families.

No refunds are provided on any jokes told by the pastors.
