Welcome to Hillside

We invite people to experience real life with Jesus Christ.

The Bible talks about the church as the “household of God” and we like to think of ourselves as family. If you have a question about something, just ask. We want you to feel welcome here.

We would love to connect with you further — please use this form to tell us about your visit today and stop by the welcome desk in the foyer. Let us know if this is your first visit and the greeters will give you a free gift.

Worship Service

  • During the service, we usually stand to sing and sit at other times. Toward the beginning of the service we will stand and greet one another. Just do what others seem to be doing and you will be OK.
  • The service begins at 10:30 and ends around 11:35.
  • We have singing, reading, and praying for about 30 minutes. Then the pastor teaches for about 30 minutes.

Children in
the Service

  • During the singing, all children sit with their parents.
  • Activity pages and kid-friendly notes pages are available for older children in the foyer.
  • Your children are always welcome to stay with you the entire time. Kids make noise and that’s OK. If they get very loud, please take them to the foyer for a reset.
  • During the sermon, young children (2–5 years) can go to our Little Ones Time in the room at the back-right of the worship room. If you have a preschool child, they can run with the others or you can take them and drop them off (just follow the kids). The children will return to their parents when we sing the last song at the end of the service.
  • If you have an infant (birth–1 year), we have some lovely volunteers who will care for them during the sermon in our Quiet Room opposite the sound booth. If you would like your infant to participate in this ministry, take them to the entrance doors when the pastor dismisses the preschoolers.
  • If you are a nursing mother, you are welcome to use the rocking chairs in the Quiet Room at any time. You will be able to see and hear the service in a calmer setting with your baby. The door to the Quiet Room is in the foyer.

Giving & Offerings

  • Church members support the ministries of Hillside. No guest is required or expected to make donations.
  • If you would like to give your tithe, offerings, or donations here, then you are welcome to do so.
  • We use the Offerings boxes on the walls near the Sound Booth and Quiet Room, or we give online using our secure form.
